About Us

At Colorful Kidz we create room makeovers for kids in need. We assist children who may have a disability, have suffered trauma or have a medical issue. We create a space where children and teenagers can heal, cope and recover. We use recycled furniture whenever possible in our room makeovers.

In our store we sell Fusion Mineral Paint, furniture and accessories for the home. The sale of these products assists us with our operating expenses and our children's room makeovers. 

Not every home situation is ideal. We try to create an environment that children and teenagers want to be in. The bedroom is where they sleep, study, learn, play and spend time with their friends.

Currently our team consists of Erin Flynn a nurse, Brittany Cheney a mom, Joanne Bresnahan our secretary, Cesar Castillo a firefighter, Karen Munsey an avid DIY-er and Caren Berry the founder, an interior designer. 

Our work would not be possible without our team of volunteers, who range from students, skilled professionals, retirees, teachers, pastors, other DIY-ers, seniors and the support of the community.

Colorful Kidz Inc. is a 501(c) 3 children's nonprofit located in East Sandwich, Massachusetts.
